R507 Refrigerant Gas is a zeotropic blend of R125 (50%) and R143a (50%). It is classified as an A1 safety group refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3,985. Common cylinder sizes include 10 kg, 20 kg, and 50 kg. The refrigerant is typically available in high-purity industrial grade. Its viscosity ranges between 0.012–0.015 cP at 25°C. R507 is denser than air, with a buoyancy factor of approximately 1.2 relative to air. The material compatibility includes metals like steel, copper, and aluminum, but it is not compatible with certain elastomers and plastics. Operating pressures range from 100–400 psi depending on temperature conditions.
