The Maxwell RC6 Windlass is designed for boats up to 60 feet, with a pulling capacity of 1,500W (24V) or 2,200W (12V). It accommodates chain sizes of 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm (5/16", 3/8", 1/2") and rope up to 16mm (5/8"). The windlass operates at a retrieval speed of approximately 12 meters per minute.
Anchor chains for the RC6 are typically Grade 30 or Grade 40 high-test steel, with a working load limit (WLL) ranging from 1,000kg to 3,200kg depending on size. Chain links are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance. Common sizes include 8mm (5/16"), 10mm (3/8"), and 12mm (1/2") with a studded design for strength.
